Find out if you are owed thousands before the PPI deadline date set for 29th of August 2019 by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA).

The FCA set a deadline to urge people who were potentially mis-sold PPI to take action. There is a pot of BILLIONS of pounds set aside for people who wish to make a PPI claim.

If you do not claim by the 29th of August 2019, you will lose your right to claim.

Don't know if you have had PPI?

If you have EVER had the following types of credit, it's worth you checking for PPI:
  • Loans - Including personal loans and business loans
  • Credit Cards - if you had a credit card between 1990 and 2010 from any lender there's a high chance you paid for PPI
  • Mortgages - from high street banks such as Lloyds, Halifax, Barclays, NatWest, plus many more.
  • Store Cards – these were issued by high street stores such as M&S, Debenhams, House of Fraser.

Were you mis-sold?

A large proportion of PPI policies were mis-sold. A list of instances where PPI was mis-sold includes:

Not realising you had PPI on your account

Not being informed that the PPI was optional

Already having a sick pay scheme at work, so did not need the policy

Not being informed of what the policy did and didn’t cover

Being told that you couldn’t take out the loan or credit card unless you agreed to take the PPI

Any pre-existing medical conditions that were not taken into account

If you were self-employed or retired at the time of the policy
